Isn’t it fun when the little ones hit an age where they pick their own birthday theme?! It was a tough choice between The Paw Patrol and Star Wars, but in the end the Storm Troopers won our little girls heart!
Ever since Miss L went on her daddy-daughter date to the new Star Wars movie it has been all the two of them talk about and needless to say when Star Wars was chosen as the birthday theme the hubby was beyond thrilled. It might have even been his suggestion to throw the LEGO twist on it!
We were debating long and hard on where to do the party: at home? an outside venue? indoor play ground? The possibilities were endless… But once we learned of Hero Tag at Laser City, which is a version of laser tag just for littler ones, we knew it was a perfect match!
The food was fun with this one: as with all of our kids birthdays I like to try to keep to simple (i.e. easy to make!) items that won’t keep me busy all party. Then of course we had to add the StarWars twist!
- Light Saber Hot Dogs
- Obi-Wan Kabob-ies
- Storm Trooper Cheese Ball
- Then of coarse, a LEGO & Star Wars themed candy bar and Cake!
Check out the full party details as featured on Catch My Party… here!
Overall the party was lots of fun and our little Storm Trooper had a great time!
Now I just HAVE to share these two little shout outs for all those local Edmonton Area family & friends…
[Shout Out #1] Looking for a great Birthday venue?! Check out Laser City! Not only do they have offer traditional Laser Tag for all ages, but they also offer “Hero Tag” a special version on Laser Tag specifically for the younger kids (4-6yrs) with super hero caps, kid sized blasters and a kids sized arena! But don’t just take it from me, in the words of Miss L herself “can we puhhh-leassseeeee play again and again and again and again, EVERYDAY!”.
[Shout Out #2] Need a GREAT cake for your next birthday, party, or any event that is not only AMAZINGLY decorated, but also DELICIOUS tasting, check out Amber’s Super Stella Cakes on Facebook or click here!
Happy Friday! or maybe a TGIF is in order! 😉
